Valentino Sofokleous starts with rowing in 1999 and won his first award in 2002 – Bronze Medal in International regatta of Gent only on 16 years. After a bunch of gold medals in international regattas (single and double scull) he got No 15 in the world in the Single Scull.

Up to now he is doing his trainings in Greece with The Greak National team, and if he is in Cyprus, he is training in Limassol Nautical Club with his first coach Yiannis Charalambous (ex-national rowing trainer). The training program is more than exhausting as Valentino want to qualify for the Olympic Games – he has only two afternoons off of trainings.

As part of ASBIS Enterprises Plc, Prestigio will become a sponsor of the highest ranking competition in FIBA Europe that will take place for the first time in Cyprus. The island will be presented by the players form Proteas Eka AEL.

Natalia (28), sponsored by Prestigio since 2006, won a personal gold medal in the 100m butterfly , where she clocked 1:02:69. She also took silver in the 50m and 100m freestyle, and shared gold, silver and bronze with her team-mates in 3 relays.

Despite the fierce competition from their Icelandic rivals, Natalia and her Cypriot team-mates from both women’s and men’s swimming squads have been able to accomplish the total of 6 gold, 11 silver, and 7 bronze medals. Thanks to their efforts, the Cypriot national team has been able to bag the largest number of medals , and, consequently, Cyprus has been selected to host the next Games in 2009.
