From March 5th 2009, Prestigio is exhibiting 80 cartoons selected from its collections in Gabrovo, Bulgaria. The cartoons can be viewed by the public at the House of Humor and Satire of Gabrovo (HHS) and, as the exposition will last for a month only, we strongly recommend visiting the museum as soon as possible to not missing out on the colorful art. Prestigio has made it a tradition since 2004 to hold several artistic competitions each year aimed at promoting the brand and artists at all levels from around the world. With themes such as ‘Funny High-Tech in Art’ and ‘Take it the Funny Way’, the last two international cartoons contests held by Prestigio had an average of 700 entries submitted by contestants from 35 countries worldwide. The contests are open to amateur and professional cartoonists from all backgrounds, ages and levels of experience. A professional jury selects each year the most creative artwork, and the public can also cast their votes online.

The current exhibition in Gabrovo displays some of the best cartoons in Prestigio’s collection, and it is an honor to collaborate with the House of Humor and Satire (HHS). It is “an international cultural centre that successfully combines some features of a museum and more of those of a busy art gallery. The House is a place that serves not only to perpetuate the celebrated Gabrovo anecdotes, but it is also a meeting ground of examples of contemporary humorous and satirical art from the world over.
