Prestigio Technologies Ltd. has announced the results of its 3rd International Photo Contest “Summer in motion”. The jury and the public have selected 4 winners out of around 500 entries submitted by contestants from 35 countries worldwide. The judges had an extremely challenging task of selecting only the best images. The voting has been taken in two rounds but the final result was easy in any case.

The photo which scored the highest number of points and eventually won the Grand Prix is titled “Light Flight” .

The author Shakir Dzheyranov is from Russia. “I started taking interest in photography since I was 17-18 and understood that it’s “mine” from the first steps. I'm not an expert yet not a novice. Photography is like dancing for me - it lets you express yourself, find common language with other people. I prefer taking photos of people and situations staying “invisible” for heroes of photo. I suppose, it makes my pictures more sincere and vivid” - Shakir Dzheyranov tells.

The Grand Prix winner will receive the top cash award of USD 1,000.

The Gold Prize was awarded to Nimai Chandra Ghosh from India with the genre photo “Winning team”  that conquered hearts of jury at height of football’s season.

Winner will receive Prestigio DVD player 710 and 300$ in cash. This portable DVD player provides all the necessary features to guarantee on-the-go entertainment.

The Silver winner Kyaw Thar lives in Myanmar. His photo “Web master” http://art.prestigio.com/gallery/view/1213163980 is distinguished from others by its quality and clearness.

The moment that was caught makes you charmed away. The winner will receive Prestigio DVD player 585 and $200 in cash.

User’s choice prize was selected through the users’ voting after which the final Prestigio team selection took place. From the top 10 works that have been selected and supported by the users Prestigio team has chosen the only one – “Jump”  submitted by Katja Ivanusa from Slovenia.

The 3rd International Prestigio Photo Contest is over. It brought summer mood and emotions. We are looking forward to see your new bright photos next year. This year Prestigio will have one more traditional international contest of cartoons that is slated for December 2008.

The best cartoons from Prestigio contests will be displayed at an international cartoon exhibition to be held in the House of Humour and Satire in the Bulgarian town of Gabrovo in March 2009.

Prestigio has made it a tradition since 2004 to hold several artistic contests each year aimed at promoting the Prestigio brand and identifying and encouraging gifted artists and designers from around the world.
